Here's an interesting product to relieve stress - A Pillow! It's supposed to vibrate with a special rhythmic heart beat to calm your nerves when you clutch them to your chest.
Clutch them to your chest and they vibrate with a special rhythmic heart beat to calm your nerves. We were skeptical at first, but found that they really do de-stress even the jaded amongst us.
The amazing thing about My Beating Heart is that every time you turn it on, an entirely unique heartbeat rhythm is created. In fact, every rhythm itself gradually changes and subtly dances, algorithically modelling the heartbeat in a deep meditative state. This isn't a pre-recorded rhythm and this isn't a "heartbeat sound." This is a physical heartbeat that realistically changes over time.

Hi Vishal,
I love the ThinkGeek site
That's an interesting quote, especially "...algorithmically modeling the heartbeat in a deep meditative state...."
I bet it works wonders. I'm considering purchasing a couple of them - one for me and one for the wife. It's a good investment and I have high hopes and this sounds like something that would truly be helpful.

So Vishal, have you tried the pillow, it seems like a real novel idea, but I wouldn't want to buy it, unless someone I know actually used it and it worked for them.

I feel the same effect could be created with a sound track and a good 5.1 speaker system without all the pillow grabbing. lol Still an interesting example of how sound can affect the body in a physiological way.
