I have been meditating on heart since last couple of days and it's been a wonderful experience. What I do is completely relax myself and gradually bring my awareness to the chest area. I then express gratitude to further open up my heart. There is an amazing feeling in the chest and I feel great thereafter.

One can also think of someone whom you love deeply.

Hi Vishal,

The heart chakra is a good spot to focus upon. It's one of the higher chakras and as you mentioned, is good for developing gratitude and other matters of the heart.

I like to follow up the heart area with first the throat chakra and then the eye center.

It seems to me that if everyone would increase gratitude, we'd all be quite a bit more peaceful. Gratitude is a priceless concept.

The glass is always half full :)

Hi Vishal,

I love this method and I usually feel gratitude for my heart beat. I have never thought of expressing gratitude to further open my heart. I will try it. Thank you.

Sometimes I meditate with love by visualizing me hugging someone I love. It feels awesome.
