Hi all, first post here.
I'm trying to find out if anyone here has used natural anxiety meds????
I have been perscribed everything from zanax to zoloft and I'm sick of feeling medicated all the time.
Anyway, I'm looking for a better solution and I found a bunch of natural meds out there but I really need some feedback as to what I should take.
The one I'm looking at now is called ceryn7. ceryn-7.com anyway it looks like the best combo of natural meds ive seen.
anyone tried?

I used to be on seroquel. Man I hated that stuff. It was for depression/anxiety. I just started exercising a bunch and it helped a lot.
A couple weeks later I tried going off the meds. I haven't been back on any since. I hate being medicated.
I don't have any ideas on any natural drugs though.
Best of luck.

Hi KyleBirk.
I don't really consider any medication when anxious, neither prescribed nor natural. Whenever I feel tensioned, I make myself busy by doing things that makes me perspire (using both mind and body). I agree with choiceimprint that doing exercise will help you relieve what you're currently feeling as it shifts your thinking to other things. Try doing sports and other outdoor activities if you're not happy with exercising, I'm sure you'll be better sooner. Spending on sports than on meds is better.

Yes KyleBirk, as everyone else has already mentioned, exercising can really help. But as a long term and permanent solution to your anxiety issues, you should consider taking up meditation so that you can get to the root cause of your anxious thoughts and sort them out. You can even try meditating with a sound technology called Holosync...I have used this in the past for my stress related issues and it did wonders for me. Alternatively, you can explore the field of energy medicine, this is fast becoming the next big thing to hit the medicine world. You can look for an alternative energy solution called Pranic Healing on the internet and see if this can help you.

I tried herbal supplements before such as St John's Wort, as well as chamomile/passion flower. I felt less anxious when consuming them. Currently, I have been consuming Omega-3 supplement (with high DHA content) for a year now. I find it helpful in reducing my anxiety issues.

Hi Dear, Have you ever thought why the sensations arise in your body when you get in to a typical situation? Is it the situation or the sensations that you are afraid of? Do you know that we ourselves set panic alarms in our subconscious mind, with or without our own knowledge? Do you know that if we can set an alarm, we can cancel it also? Knowing this will free you. You must take the medicines. More important is to know, why you are taking medicines. Then over a long period of time, you will be able to reduce the dosages. Believe me, even when we are in our mothers womb, we start registering threats for our survival, and set alarms accordingly.

Hi KyleBirk,
Probably the 3 most popular natural remedies for anxiety are St John's Wort, Passion Flower and Valerian. Of the 3, I recently read a report that despite St John's Wort being the most popular, Passion Flower is more effective for anxiety relief.

Hello
I would suggest Valerian root, also Kava kava is an anti anxiety herb, Hops is also one herb that has been used for calming down anxiety.

I feel for myself there's a few things that I use. Valerian root is great to use if you're stressed out and actually have trouble sleeping. It's a natural ingredient that some people have used.
I would also suggest Kava Kava, but make sure it's Kava root, because sometimes there's other ingredients that aren't as pure. But Kava has been used by Hawaiians for a while.
Another one is to drink Chamomile tea, as this will help you relax and is designed to actually calm your presence. However you may feel sleepy afterwards.
I've had all three and it really depends on the situation. But definitely those are some natural ways to help.

I've tried st johns wort, but It didn't really have any effect on me at all. But I have talked to a lot of people that say it helped them out a lot, might be worth looking more into.
