Thanks for sharing vishal. Dried Apricots, Spinach, Oranges, Turkey, Sweet Potatoes, Salmon, Avocados, Green Vegetables, Almonds, Pistachios & Walnuts helps to reduce the stress levels. Here are some stress-busting tips: - Exercise reguarly - Drink an energy shake for breakfast - Eat small meals throughout the day, which will keep your blood sugar stable

I think the main thing with regard to food is to eat everything in moderation. Instead of totally avoiding one food, perhaps it is no harm in consuming some of these "sinful" foods. If you are aware of the negative effects of caffeine, for example, you will be less inclined to drink lots of it.

GoodTimes: Im confused because without sugar i feel drained all day, Whats a good alternative ? Sugar actually makes you even more drained internally! It's like putting your already exhausted body on steroids.
Try jaggery instead. Or raw sugar. Still I would prefer jaggery.

Hello In terms of food and stress – don't you agree, that the most important thing is balance. If you overeat, it is obviously not good, but leaving something totally out is also not the best thing you can do.

Guest: Completely avoiding salt is not advisable. I dont know where you get your info from I'm sorry, I should have included the word limit along with avoid. I have just updated the post with more information.
BTW, even though you explicitly avoid salt, you still get enough (probably more) of it than what your body requires from the processed foods.

Great information Vashal. I always knew about avoiding caffeine but I never thought about the other stuff.
Also, thanks stressless06 for the helpful suggestions on what is good to eat.
