This is another thing that I have found to help me get past issues. If there is something bugging you, if you hurt or upset someone, then tell them you are sorry. Don't let it stew, and make you more and more worked up, deal with it head on.

And yes I had to deal with it this week myself

A really powerful technique indeed. However, it may not come easily especially if you have a strong ego. Ironically, stress effects most to those who have a strong ego.

I know what you mean, most people don't even know that guilt can be a stress factor. I try to never have a reason to need to apologize by always doing right by people

I heard about an old saying, "A tree with fruits always leans down".

Actually, it means that, the person who is really good and had been just always, show a soft and polite attitude at all times.

Whereas, a fruitless or worthless person would always stand arrogantly.

When you apologize, you'll find that even the other person might be telling, "Don't worry, it's not your fault only".
