I'm having trouble with my neck getting stiff lately and I'm pretty sure its stress related. I can feel the problem getting worse as I get under more and more stress.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this. It is getting painful.

You need to do what you can to get out of or reduce the stress level you are currently facing. You have to be purposeful about it. For eg, if it's a case of being stressed by the boss about being late, just do whatever you can to be on time for work....that kind of thing.

Oh no its not my bosses, I love my work and the people who manage there are just great. I got in a car yesterday and something in my neck popped. Now my neck is not stiff anymore although the muscles are trying to tighten back up. Now my neck and back and chest is sore
Hopefully its getting better.

Stress or not, this is something that you might be able to learn to control. The stiffness comes from holding yourself unnaturally, so fixing your posture could make the world of difference.

Neck exercises help a great deal as I have been doing them for years now. Bad posture never helps and sometimes I know people who use a pillow behind their back if they are sitting for long amounts of time.
