Regular or short-term stress is something that is present for a short period of say 2-3 days or max a week. As soon as the stress trigger or situation passes away, our body reverts back to it's normal condition.

Chronic stress happens when the body fails to revert back to it's original state due to over exposure to stressful condition or due to it's inability to relax. As a result the body continues to be in a state of stress leading to serious health complications.
